Priddy ISD October Recognitions
Please join us in congratulating our Student of the Month, Clinton Nooner, and our Teacher of the Month, Mrs. Jessica Steed!
Student of the Month – Clinton Nooner
Nominated by his teacher, Mrs. Steed, 4th grader Clinton Nooner exemplifies what it means to be a leader in and out of the classroom.
Here’s what Mrs. Steed had to say:
"Clinton goes above and beyond in the classroom and does his best to work hard at learning new things every day. When he gets stumped on something he can't do, he never gets frustrated — he just asks for help and patiently soaks it in. If a classmate is struggling, Clinton is the first to offer help or even read to them. He consistently shows kindness and respect — always holding the door for me when we leave the building, even at the end of a long day. He is a wonderful student and a true gentleman."
Teacher of the Month – Mrs. Jessica Steed
This is Mrs. Steed’s first year teaching and her first year at Priddy ISD, but you’d never know it by the incredible impact she’s already made! Nominated by Mr. Herrera, Mrs. Steed is setting the bar high.
She graduated from Texas Tech University in just 2.5 years while working full time as a teacher’s aide — a true testament to her dedication. As our 4th grade teacher and Student Council Representative, she’s already led a successful food drive that collected over 650 lbs of food, purchased a firepit during the Fall Festival auction to support the district, and provides afterschool tutorials with consistency and care.
Mrs. Steed has a growth mindset, is always learning, and is deeply committed to her students and school community. We're lucky to have her at Priddy ISD! 🙌
