Good Morning,
I’ve been waiting on confirmation from officials, and we just received word that our game this week will be covered. We will now be playing a Junior Varsity game VS. Rocksprings JV on Thursday night in Priddy with a 7:00 PM kickoff.
As many of you know, Walnut Springs has forfeited this Friday’s game due to low numbers, so this adjustment allows our athletes to still compete this week.

They played hard and we are proud of them despite the outcome.

Dear Parents,
We are excited to share that our school has partnered with TCHATT, a free virtual mental health program available exclusively for students.
TCHATT offers confidential counseling services via phone during or after the school day. Students typically meet with a counselor 5–8 times, depending on their needs. Please note that there is usually a two-week wait after a referral is made.
All referrals must go through our Dean of Students, Mrs. Dena Peters, and parent/guardian consent is required before services can begin. If you would like to refer your child or have questions about the program, please don’t hesitate to contact Mrs. Peters to start the process.
Mental health is an important part of every student’s well-being, and we believe in addressing it with care and attention—not letting it go unspoken. We encourage you to view TCHATT as a valuable resource for your child.
Please see the attachments for more information.
As always, we are here to support our Priddy Pirates—because we care deeply about each and every one of them!

More of Pre-k 😃

Pre-k 3 and 4!

The first week has been full of new experiences for our Pre-K students, and they are doing a fantastic job adjusting.

We’re proud to kick off the school year by celebrating some outstanding members of our Priddy ISD family!
Teacher of the Month: Coach Derek Ahearn
Coach Ahearn is our new Athletics Director and Head Football Coach, as well as our middle school science teacher. Over the summer, he went above and beyond—cleaning, welding, and painting the storage shed used for our high jump and pole vault mats, welding shelving under the press box, and rearranging locker rooms to better serve our athletes. He brings passion and enthusiasm to coaching and teaching, and he’s already proven to be an incredible role model for our students. We are lucky to have Coach Ahearn on our team!
High School Student of the Month: Wyatt Frazier
Wyatt is a senior who wears many hats—participating in football, golf, Ag Mech, FFA Leadership and Career Development, and serving as a member of the National Honor Society. He is known for his great manners and positive attitude, making him a joy to be around. Wyatt plans to attend Western Texas College in Snyder to study Farm and Ranch Management. Keep up the amazing work, Wyatt!
Elementary Student of the Month: Camila "Cami" Sanchez
Cami is a 5th grader who was nominated by her teacher, Mrs. Ellis. She is a bright light on campus—always polite, helpful to others, and showing excellent attendance. Cami loves playing soccer and is a wonderful example of kindness and responsibility at Priddy Elementary.
Join us in congratulating Coach Ahearn, Wyatt, and Cami for their hard work and dedication. You make us #PriddyProud!
