Attention Parents!

Want an easy way to keep up with your child’s grades, attendance, and tardies? The ASCENDER Parent Portal is here to help!

What’s great about it?
One of the best features is the Alerts tab – you can get automatic notifications if your child gets a low grade, is absent, or is late to class!

✅ Here’s how to get started:

Go to www.priddyisd.net

Click on Parent Resources > ASCENDER Parent Portal

Click Create Account

Contact us at 📞 325-966-3323 or 📧 chayden.feist@priddyisd.net
to get your child’s Parent Portal ID

After creating your account, log in and add your student(s) using their Portal ID and date of birth

Don’t forget to check your email and click the link to verify your account!

💬 Need help? Stop by the school office anytime – we’re happy to walk you through it.

🎓 Bonus: All students in grades 3–12 also have access to their own Student Portal to monitor their progress!

Thanks for being an active part of your child’s success at Priddy ISD! 💙📚

📢📢 Attention Parents and Guardians!!

Thanks to the support of our School Board, EVERY student in our district receives FREE school meals, this year. 🥪🍎

👉 BUT--- it's still very important to complete the Free & Reduced Meals Application.

Why?
✅Applications help our schools qualify for critical funding and programs that benefit ALL students.
☑️It's quick, easy, and completely confidential.

📌 Please take a few minutes to fill out our application today. Applications were handed out and sent home with your student today. We will only need 1 application per household, and they need to be turned in by Wednesday August 27th, 2025.

Together, we can make sure every student has the meals and resources they need to succeed!!💙💛

If you have any question please reach out to Jessica Gutierrez @ 325-966-3323 ext 226

We’re proud to kick off the school year by celebrating some outstanding members of our Priddy ISD family!

Teacher of the Month: Coach Derek Ahearn
Coach Ahearn is our new Athletics Director and Head Football Coach, as well as our middle school science teacher. Over the summer, he went above and beyond—cleaning, welding, and painting the storage shed used for our high jump and pole vault mats, welding shelving under the press box, and rearranging locker rooms to better serve our athletes. He brings passion and enthusiasm to coaching and teaching, and he’s already proven to be an incredible role model for our students. We are lucky to have Coach Ahearn on our team!

High School Student of the Month: Wyatt Frazier
Wyatt is a senior who wears many hats—participating in football, golf, Ag Mech, FFA Leadership and Career Development, and serving as a member of the National Honor Society. He is known for his great manners and positive attitude, making him a joy to be around. Wyatt plans to attend Western Texas College in Snyder to study Farm and Ranch Management. Keep up the amazing work, Wyatt!

Elementary Student of the Month: Camila "Cami" Sanchez
Cami is a 5th grader who was nominated by her teacher, Mrs. Ellis. She is a bright light on campus—always polite, helpful to others, and showing excellent attendance. Cami loves playing soccer and is a wonderful example of kindness and responsibility at Priddy Elementary.

Join us in congratulating Coach Ahearn, Wyatt, and Cami for their hard work and dedication. You make us #PriddyProud!
