Behavioral and Social/Emotional Supports
Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS): Priddy School utilizes a system of positive behavior supports designed to help all students develop behaviors that are conducive for learning and success in school.

Student Behavior Contracts: Students who need additional structures for understanding behavioral expectations may benefit from a student behavior contract developed with input from administration, teachers, parents, and the students.

Counseling Support: A certified school guidance counselor is available two days per week at the Priddy School. The counselor assists with our school's master schedule, college readiness, guidance counseling, and basic counseling needs.

Social and Emotional Learning, Anti-bullying Lessons, and Character Education: Our district utilizes the Quaver Social and Emotional Learning units taught by our fine arts teacher to help proactively address character education, anti-bullying lessons, and other social-emotional learning topics of interest. Parents are always welcome to view these age-appropriate lessons and/or to visit with our teacher about social and emotional learning supports.

Behavior Intervention Plans: Students with special behavioral needs will benefit from additional supports provided by Behavior Interventions Plans (BIPs) developed with input from parents, teachers, administration, and specialists. Please contact Mr. Bucky Bates, Principal, for additional information for accessing behavioral support resources for your child.

Crisis Counseling: The Priddy School works with local cooperating agencies to assist parents/families with acquiring additional supports in response to crisis situations such as suicide prevention, grief counseling, response to violent or dangerous behaviors, and other crisis situations. Please contact Mr. Bucky Bates for assistance in acquiring additional counseling resources for your child.

Community Resources
Child Welfare Board: Our district participates in a shared services agreement to provide additional needs of students who are in crisis situations, such as foster care, family job loss, family financial crisis, and other hardships. This group can assist families in locating resources to provide children with items such as food, school supplies, clothing, and other needs and wants. For assistance, contact Mr. Bucky Bates, Principal.

Local Assistance: Our Priddy community has many private citizens and church groups who care deeply about our students and school. These individuals and groups are willing to assist with helping with a variety of needs. Contact Mr. Bucky Bates, Principal, for assistance.
